Chase Rice was back on stage this weekend, headlining a concert at the prison-turned venue Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Petros, Tennessee.
Based on the lack of masks and crowding, it suggests few of the concert goers seemed very worried about getting sick.
The venue says they "drastically reduced" maximum venue capacity from 10,000 to 4,000 maximum capacity (lower than the state’s advisement of 50%)
They also say that less than 1,000 in were in attendance and that they took other precautions
Rice hasn't commented about the blowback, that includes fellow singer Kelsea Ballerini musing in part: "Imagine being selfish enough to put thousands of people’s health at risk."

It seems Chase wasn't the only country star back on stage this weekend. Chris Janson also held a concert in Idaho, and video seems to show a pretty packed crowd, with little social distancing, although his show was outdoors.
