Sammy Hagar is dialing back his comments about performing during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a Rolling Stone article this week, the former Van Halen singer said he'd perform if the pandemic was declining, and that "there may be a time where we have to sacrifice."
Hagar was quoted saying, "we all gotta die, man." He now says he made those comments back in early May when "the curve was flattening," but that now, he's for getting back to work in a safe and responsible way.
Hagar added that he employs 200 people, so he remains cautiously optimistic.
