Eagles TE Goedert Reportedly OK After This Sucker Punch

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was reportedly attacked at a South Dakota restaurant on Friday while eating dinner with his family. A follow-up report from ESPNreveals that Goedert was able to return home uninjured and that he was "fine."

This surveillance video of the attacksurfaced yesterday and, be warned, it includes disturbing violence and offensive language.

Not a whole lot of details about the incident in question are exactly known. All that's been officially reported beyond the attack itself is that the person who punched Goedert did so unprovoked—why anyone would willingly punch a professional football player who is listed at 6-foot-5 and over 250 pounds for any reason at all is beyond me, but I digress.

Goedert was also taken to the hospital following the attack as a precaution but given all that is known about his situation now, it seems like nothing was wrong with him.

We still know very little about the circumstances of this, or why it happened to the 25-year-old tight end. We do know Goedert is okay, which is the most important part.

We also hear that the assailant has been arrested.
