Machine Head is out with new music inspired by current events.
The band released a two-song single yesterday titled "Civil Unrest," which features the song "Stop The Bleeding," featuring Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach.
Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn says the song was inspired by the death of George Floyd and the protests held in response to it, and that he wrote the lyrics before the four officers involved in Floyd's death were charged.
The second song, "Bulletproof," was written in reaction to events surrounding the coronavirus pandemic and the death of Ahmaud Arbery.
