Ohio Borrows Money For COVID-19 Unemployment Claims

Ohio is asking to borrow money to help fund its unemployment claims following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor DeWine announced yesterday the state is requesting three-point-one-billion dollars from the U.S. Department of Labor.

DeWine says that amount is actually more than needed, but he says the coverage will be used as a line of credit just in case.
