A Cleveland Indians baseball player is giving back to those treating COVID-19 patients in his community.
Shortstop Francisco Lindor has donated 150 pairs of New Balance sneakers to workers at Marymount Hospital in Cleveland.
The athlete says he wants to thank them for everything they’re doing for the community of Cleveland.
“You guys are the true heroes … all of you,” Lindor says in a video to the hospital employees. “I just wanted to help a little bit to make you guys a little more comfortable.”
