#GoodNews: Chicago Man Walks 46 Miles To Honor George Floyd

Looking for a way to show his respect for the passing of George Floyd, a Chicago man set out on foot. Keenan Love wanted to honor the 46-year-old man so he walked 46-miles from Chicago to Kankakee, Illinois, his home town.

"I just had to find a way to not be like everybody else and protest and make a stand for George Floyd," Love says. The 29-year-old started out on his journey alone, but he was met along the way by friends and family who brought him food and water and two women even brought him a new pair of shoes when the soles on his wore through. Eventually police escorted his walk down the highway and near the end, he turned around and saw hundreds of people were behind him.

“That was pure bliss,” Love explains. That was the moment I realized this was bigger than me.”
