NBA Expected To Approve Return-To-Play Proposal Today

The NBA is expected to approve today a proposal for the season to restart in late July with 22 teams playing in the Orlando area with no fans.

According to ESPN, the plan has 13 Western Conference teams and nine Eastern, eight regular-season games and a probable play-in tourney for the eighth seed.

The top 16 teams will be joined by Phoenix, San Antonio, Portland, Sacramento, New Orleans and Washington, all within six games of eighth place in the two conferences.

Players will workout at team facilities before reporting next month to Florida for full training camps.
