Police in Florida got a glimpse into what future shoplifters are going to look like after a man was seen riding on a pair of hover-shoes into a Walmart.
If you haven't heard about hover-shoes, they're basically powered roller skates. You have one on each foot and they propel you around. You can get a pair for around $200.
So this guy simply rode around Walmart as he filled up his cart with $551 worth of stuff, including paint, a trash can, a car battery, a bouquet of flowers, a Roku TV, and, fantastically, one of those motorized hoverboards.
Then he hover-skated out of the store with his cart and didn't bother paying for anything. Once he was outside, witnesses saw the man get into a 1990's Nissan Maxima and drive away. Police are still looking for the man.
