Chris Young and Lady Antebellum have both stepped up to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey, and now more country stars are doing what they can to help.
In case you missed it, George Strait recently revealed that he’s planning to do something to help, tweeting, “We are working on putting together relief efforts with the whole country music community,” while Texas native Granger Smith recently announced that he will be donating 100% of merchandise sales through his online store to hurricane relief, and his wife Amber announced that they will be helping the Texas Diaper Bank, and asking others to do the same.
Meanwhile Luke Combs is donating $10,000 to Samaritan’s Purse, “a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.” In addition, the Josh Abbot Band is selling a T-shirt that reads “My Texas” for $30, with the money going to "accredited organizations helping in disaster recovery.”
