Vince Wilfork said a few months back that he was unsure if he wanted to play in the NFL in 2017, but he has officially made up his mind. And like everything else the 325-pound lineman did in his thirteen-year career, he did it in a big way.
See it turns out Wilfork is going from tackling to pitching as he has already signed an endorsement deal with Kingsford, given he is an avid fan of smokers and all things grill-related.
And the charcoal and grilling company was more than happy to help him with—if I may use a third sporting term—his cross over as they helped the defensive tackle make a hilarious farewell video.
The video starts with a typical epic NFL type fanfare as Wilfork walks off the field and then hangs up his cleats as he picks up a pair of grill tongs and then cuts to him opening a smoker in his wearing nothing but overalls saying, “No more cleats. I’m onto smoked meats, baby!”
And from there, just like smoked meats, gets even better the longer you sit watching.
