#GoodNews: Dream Of Being Paleontologist Comes True For Kid Fighting Cancer

Riley Voss loves dinosaurs and wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up. And when the six-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pediatric cancer last November, his family decided to make every day count.

So when scientists at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science found out about Riley and his dream, they invited him to their lab and made him paleontologist for a day. The boy was able to get lost in a world of T-Rexes and at least for one day, he got to have his dream come true.

"It just made my heart," Riley’s mom, Ashley, says. "It's hard to put into words how it made me feel because it means so much to me."
