CLEVELAND, OH--- The Cleveland Cavaliers won their 6th straight Saturday night holding the Chicago Bulls under 100 points in a 97-89 victory at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. This is the 19th time this season the Cavs have held a team under 100 points.

The Cavs were playing their second game of a back to back after arriving in Cleveland at 4 this morning from a 118-107 victory in New Orleans. The Bulls were in control for a majority of the first half, being lead by Zach Lavine who scored 23 points on the night. Jarrett Allen for the Cavs was hot tonight, reaching double figures in the first quarter. Allen would also finish with 23 points. Like last night against the Pelicans, Darius Garland would get off to a slow start, not scoring until about 2 and a half minutes through the second quarter on a 3 pointer that would make the score 47-40. Garland would not continue this trend, as he would heat up later on in the game. The second quarter was a cold one for the Cavs, only managing 14 points up until halftime, but as the second half would carry on, that would change.

The third quarter would see the Cavs start to heat up a bit, but things would really pick up for the Cavs after the start of the fourth quarter. The Cavs started the 4th on a 7-0 run that was capped off with a Donovan Mitchell 3 pointer assisted by a returning Ricky Rubio with a behind the back pass that would take the Cavs lead 76-74, this shot would spark the Cavs for the rest of the game. As I mentioned earlier, Garland would pick up his game, and he picked it up big time with a 16 point 2nd half, finishing the game with 19 points, and spreading the ball around very well just like last night, racking up 7 assists. Mitchell's 3 pointer sparked the Cavs, and they carried that momentum all the way to their 4th victory over the Bulls this season.

The Cavs are gonna get some well-deserved rest, returning to the floor on Monday hosting the San Antonio Spurs at 7 pm. As always, you can hear the game on WTAM 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, the free iHeartRadio app, or HERE
