World leaders are condemning President Trump's crude remark comparing certain poor countries to toilets.
The "Washington Post" broke the news that Trump had used a vulgar expression to describe Haiti, El Salvador and African countries yesterday while discussing immigration with lawmakers in the Oval Office.
The former president of Haiti responded to Trump's remark by tweeting "Shame on Trump!," and added, "The world is witnessing a new low today."
El Salvador's Foreign Minister tweeted that he was proud to be Salvadoran.
Former Mexican president Vicente Fox said America's greatness is built on diversity.
The Information Minister of Somalia called Trump's vulgar comment "fake news" that "does not deserve a response."
