Officer William Eng with the Savannah Police Department is being credited with saving the life of a choking newborn after he ran up three flights of stairs to perform CPR to save the infant. Eng was wearing a body camera and the dramatic video it captured shows Tina Adkins desperately holding her 29-day-old baby as Eng took over to help.
Baby Bella was choking and turned bright red before Eng showed up, but after he did CPR, he finally heard a little cry. The officer says he was so relieved when he heard that and saw her move.
"I just thank God for him," the relieved mom says of Eng. "Without him, she may not have been here today, so I thank God for him."
