Snapchat is making moves to offer users a more personalized app experience. The social network's CEO said in a "Snap blog" video yesterday a new update will have users swipe left instead of right to watch stories and chat with friends, as the right side of the app will be dedicated to shows and stories posted by creators, publishers and the public. The change is meant to separate social interactions among friends from content included in the app from its media partners. The update will also allow user to find friends through a newly-personalized "Discover" page, which will adapt to the person's interests. The re-design will be available this week for a small group of users, and for everyone else in the next few weeks.
