Just like last season, the 0-11 Browns are the last remaining winless team.
But also—just like last season—they will be playing the San Diego Chargers who last season gave them the Christmas Eve gift of their only win when the Bolts missed FG as time expired to give the Browns their only win, 20-17.
But here’s something that will be different this Sunday, when the two teams face each other the Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will actually be in the lineup after being suspended for all of 2015 and 2016.
And coach Hue Jackson even compared having Gordon back to Christmas—with his eyes all aglow yesterday—when he beamed over his game plan with Gordon Sunday in L.A.
"My plans for him? Oh boy, let me tell you," Jackson said. "I got big plans for him. I plan for him to play and play as much as he can handle."
Now it’s worth noting the Browns haven’t officially activated Gordon yet, but Jackson says said the team is waiting a few days as a precaution.
Expect to see him Sunday, but I wouldn’t expect much else. Unless he can play three other positions at once.
