Report: Cavs Tristan Thompson To Miss One Month

How great was this year’s World Series?

Put it to you this way, it was so captivating that you haven’t even been paying attention to the NBA which is why you had no idea that the Cleveland Cavaliers are 3-5 right now.

Yup, in fact, you were probably so busy watching Carlos Correa propose to his girlfriend late Wednesday that you had no idea they were dropping their fourth straight game to the Pacers 124-107.

And the wasn’t even the biggest loss that night for the team.

Because now they come to find out they also lost Tristan Thompson for a month with a strained calf he suffered in the loss.

And you can add the Cavs Calf to a growing list of injuriy for the team as Cleveland is still without All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas, and reserve Iman Shumpert as well. Oh yeah, and that LeBron James has been working through a lingering ankle issue.

Hey, at least Derrick Rose recently returned from a four-game absence.

Nice to know they can rely on his elderly assistance for nearly 25 minutes a game.

In the meantime, the Cavs will likely shift Kevin Love to center and scatter Thompson’s minutes between Channing Frye and Ante Zizic.
