MLB Icon Vin Scully Throws World Series Game 2 First Pitch… Sorta

I know what you’re saying, we never post videos that are over 20-seconds let alone a near five-minute clip.

But then again, if you know that, then you also know my love of MLB announcer Vin Scully.

Which is why I have to recommend you watch all four minutes and forty-four seconds of the showman that is Scully throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for last night’s Game 2—at least pretending to before he yields to another Chavez Ravine legend, Fernando Valenzuela.

Scully—who turns 90 next month—had as much joy in his voice as his did spring in his step last night and, if ever there was a man who spent his life doing exactly what he was put here on earth to do...

Well ladies and gentlemen, I give you Vincent Edward Scully.
