Colin Kaepernick Invited To Attend Next Meeting With NFL Owners

Outspoken—and out of work—free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernickis expected to be invited to the next meeting between NFL owners and players.

NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart says Kaepernick will be invited by the players adding, "we look forward to him joining the conversation."

However, it's unclear if he will accept the invitation and attend the meeting, which is scheduled for next Tuesday in New York.

Why wouldn’t he attend?

Because he was also invited to a meeting on October 17th, and didn’t attend.

Of course, that was two days after Kaepernick had filed a grievance against the NFL owners on alleging they colluded to keep him out of the league.

Maybe now that he’s had some time to think about it he’ll come out to join in the conversation that he insists got its start with his NFL protest.

Wow, there’s something you don’t see anymore.

The words “NFL,” “Kaepernick,” and “start” in the same sentence.
