Dodgers Justin Turner Hits Game Winning Homer In WS Game 1

The NLCS co-MVP blasted a tie-breaking 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning of Game 1 of the World Series last night to put the Dodgers up 3-1 on the Houston Astros.

Turner’s homer followed a walk by leadoff man Chris Taylor—who made Dodgers manager Dave Roberts look like an immediate genius for leaving Curtis Granderson off the World Series roster—on the first pitch the dodgers saw when he homered of Dallas Keuchel giving the Dodgers an immediate 1-0 lead.

The homer was Turner’s fourth of the postseason and gave him 14 RBIs.
