Marshawn Lynch has a reputation as a great running back in the NFL, but this may have been the worst 25-yard run of his career.
Because it ended with him in the locker room instead of the endzone.
Lynch was ejected from last night’s Oakland Raiders-Kansas City Chiefs game after he ran onto the field from the sideline and grabbed a referee during a second quarter scrum.
Derek Carr was nailed by a late hit from the Chiefs’ Marcus Peters on a third-and-long play in the second quarter. Many of his Raiders teammates came to his defense, including three offensive linemen. In addition, Lynch, who wasn’t even in the game for the play, came running onto the field and got in the middle of things.
And let’s just say it wasn’t his best carry of the night.
