#GoodNews: Kid’s Lemonade And Doughnut Stand Serves Police Officers

Since six-year-old Oliver Davis got a police uniform as a gift last year, his love for police has been building. The little boy from Kansas has gotten patches and other gifts from local law enforcement and he wanted to “do something nice” for them in return.

So Oliver decided to pass out doughnuts and lemonade to them at a stand in his front yard. And when officers from 10 departments in the Kansas City area showed up, he was so happy, it made his face light up. These are Oliver’s heroes, so when they told him the treats made their day, he was delighted.

“We don’t have any policemen in our family,” Oliver’s mom Brandiexplains. “He won’t play with any superhero stuff. He said, 'I don’t need Batman, Spider-Man or Superman. I just need these guys.' So they are his superheroes."
