It didn't take long for Richard Jefferson to find a new home. According to multiple outlets, Jefferson will sign a one-year deal worth 2.3-million-dollars with the Nuggets.
The 37-year-old was released by the Hawks and cleared waivers on Monday. Jefferson was traded by the Cavaliers to Atlanta.
ESPN reports Denver is going to part ways with point guard Jameer Nelson, handing the position over to youngsters Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay.
Jefferson spent the past two years in Cleveland as a role player. He was a key cog in the Cavs' seven-game upset of the Warriors in the NBA Finals during the 2016 playoffs.
