Want to know when an incomplete pass is a complete disaster?
Take a look at this play early in Houston’s 42-34 loss last night to the Chiefs on which star defensive player J.J. Watt was lost for the season.
Then, take a look around the 11-second mark of the play and you will see that his left knee does something—well wonky—and by “wonky” I mean season ending.
Turns out, what you barely saw was Watt suffering a tibial plateau fracture.
The Houston Texans made the announcement last night during the third quarter and later, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Watt’s injury reported it will cost him the season.
And it will be costing the Texans every Sunday for the rest of the season.
