A few weeks ago, Kate Barnett was out shopping in Lynn, Massachusetts when her Dodge Neon was stolen. Losing the car was bad enough, but her wheelchair and wallet were taken, too!
Barnett has cancer and when local news covered the story of her car being stolen, she pleaded for it’s return. “I won’t press any charges,” she said. ‘I just want my car back. I can’t afford to buy another one.”
Brian Kelly, president of the Kelly Auto Group was listening and decided to help Barnett out with a new set of wheels. “The least I could do is help her with some transportation,” he says. So he let her choose her new car and she drove her new Nissan home.
