It's easy to pick out the scary clowns from the unthreatening ones. Pennywise from the movie "It"? Terrifying. Ronald McDonald? Safe. According to Burger King Russia, however, there is too much of a similarity between the clowns.
In case you missed it, the execs behind Russia's Burger King operations have officially filed a complaint to the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service demanding the film be pulled from theaters because they think Pennywise's supposed resemblance to Ronald gives McDonald's an unfair advantage.
So far, "It" hasn't been pulled and has made more than $14 million in the country so far.
