#GoodNews: Identical Twins Give Birth Hours Apart

Sometimes things just happen. You can definitely say that about a pair of Massachusetts twins having their children in adjoining rooms, hours apart. Becky Pistone drove to Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge to be with her identical twin sister Rachael McGeoch as she was induced on August 15.

That was, interestingly, Becky’s due date. Rachael started going into labor and Becky followed suit, two hours later. They were given adjoining rooms and McGeoch's son, William Charles was born at 10:41 p.m. Cousin Andi Isabella made her entrance at 6:54 p.m. the next day.

Becky had planned to give birth on Cape Cod, but sometimes fate has other plans. The new cousins spent a lot of time together in the hospital and they play, as well as one-month-olds do, when their mommies get together weekly.

Becky has one wish for the kids Hopefully they'll be as close as Rachael and I have been. It's always been our dream for them."

They’re off to a good start.
