Tribe Ties AL Record With 20th Straight Win

The Cleveland Indians have tied the longest winning streak in American League history.

Corey Kluber fired a five-hitter as the Tribe shut out the Tigers 2-0 at Progressive Field for its 20th consecutive victory.

That matches the longest AL streak set by the Oakland A's in 2002.

Kluber struck out eight without a walk to improve to 16-and-4.

Francisco Lindor hit his 30th home run for Cleveland, which can break the AL record on Wednesday against Detroit.
