Indians rookie center fielder Bradley Zimmer is recovering from surgery for a broken left hand. He had a plate and nine screws inserted on Tuesday to help heal the fracture. The Indians estimate he'll be able to resume baseball activities in six-to-eight weeks. The 24-year-old hit .241 with 39 RBI and 41 runs scored in 101 games for Cleveland this season after being promoted from the minors on May 16th.
