More Than Two Dozen Arrested For Looting As Irma Strikes

A Florida teenager is recovering after he was shot by a Broward County deputy while allegedly burglarizing a home during Hurricane Irma.  

The 17-year-old is expected to recover and his accomplice was taken into custody.  More than two dozen people across South Florida have been arrested for looting during the storm, with thefts reported at places ranging from pawn shops and shoe stores to Walmart and homes.  

Arrests were made in Miami-Dade, Broward and Fort Lauderdale.
