Indians Match Franchise Mark With 14th Straight Win

The Indians are matching the record for the longest winning streak in franchise history.

Cleveland captured its 14th straight win with a 5-1 victory over the White Sox in Chicago.

Carlos Carrasco went the distance, striking out nine and allowing only three hits to improve to 14-and-6.

Carlos Santana clubbed a two-run homer for the Tribe in the win.  Adam Engel smacked a solo homer in the ninth for Chicago, which looks to avoid a four-game sweep Thursday.

Reynaldo Lopez allowed only a run in six innings, but fell to 0-and-3 with the tough-luck loss.
