Indians Edge White Sox For 12th Straight Win

Carlos Santana and Jose Ramirez homered as the Indians edged the White Sox 5-3 in Chicago.  

Francisco Lindor and Roberto Perez both had two hits and an RBI as the Tribe won its 12th straight. Trevor Bauer tossed six-and-a-third innings of two-run ball to up his record to 15-and-8.  

Cody Allen closed it out for his 24th save.  Rymer Liriano hit a two-run homer and knocked in three for Chicago. 

James Shields surrendered four runs in six-and-a-third frames to fall to 2-and-6.  He left in the seventh inning with a right knee contusion after being hit with a line drive.
