#GoodNews: Community Comes Out To Celebrate Autistic Teen’s Birthday

William Morales thought he’d be spending his 13th birthday alone, but his community came out to surprise him and celebrate. Hundreds of people showed up to support the teenager with autism, including members of the military, a motorcycle group, and an army of “Star Wars” Stormtroopers.

But the party in Port St. Lucie, Florida wasn’t just in honor of Morales, it was also to take a stand against bullying. Morales was bullied last year and his family wanted to help raise awareness for those who are picked on.

So a group called CrowdFunnit, which hosts parties like this across the country, put the birthday bash together. This new teenager had an amazing time at his party and that’s what it’s all about.
