A new poll shows 40 percent of Americans now support President Trump's impeachment.
The Public Religion Research Institute poll found that four in ten Americans, largely Democrats, would get behind a Trump impeachment.
It was conducted from August 2nd to 8th, before the violent outbreak at a Charlottesville, Virginia alt-right rally that left one dead.
In February, the number of Americans supporting Trump's removal was at 30 percent.
The increase can be credited to more Democrats and Independents opposing President Trump's actions over the months.
The numbers show that since February, Democrats who back an impeachment has increased from 58-percent to 72-percent.
The number of Independents who approve of an impeachment has increased from 27-percent to 38-percent.
Republican numbers have remained almost the same, under ten-percent approving of the President's removal.
