Vice President Mike Pence is condemning the deadly attack on a group of counter-protesters at a white nationalist rally in Virginia.
Speaking in Cartagena, Colombia, Pence also pushed back against criticism of President Trump's statement about the attack that left one woman dead and 19 others hurt. He said Trump "unambiguously" condemned bigotry when he spoke out against the hatred "on many sides" that led to the violence in Charlottesville this past weekend. Many felt the President's statement didn't go far enough in singling out white supremacists. A revised White House statement later included white supremacist hate groups like neo-Nazis and the KKK.
