After being bullied by classmates for such a long time, Shannon Purcifer decided to skip her high school prom. The 16-year-old girl from England suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, bowel disease, celiac disease, and ulcerative colitis and other teens at school bullied her relentlessly for her medical conditions.
But a group of 120 bikers made it up to Purcifer when they came to escort her to a “biker ball” recently that was organized just for her. She finally got to wear her prom dress and dance the night away with family and friends.
“The best part was when the bikes arrived,” she says. And she describes her party as “better than I could have ever imagined.”
