A passenger train in Sweden will, from here on, be called Trainy McTrainface.
A Swedish rail company asked the public to vote on names for four passenger trains in Stockholm.
Names like "Miriam" and "Poseidon" were contenders. Instead, the vast majority of voters decided to name the train "Trainy McTrainface."
The comical name pays homage to a British vote last year, when the public decided to name a 260-million-dollar research vessel Boaty McBoatface.
British officials overruled that name, so the Swedish rail company has decided to stick with "Trainy McTrainface," and says it hopes its decision will be received with joy by many.
