#GoodNews: Uber Driver Helps Deliver Passenger’s Baby In Car

A Los Angeles area Uber driver now has an amazing story to tell after one of his passengers gave birth in the backseat of his car. Erica Davidovich was having contractions Friday evening, so her husband Niv called Uber for a ride to the hospital.

With the births of their other three kids, it took hours after Erica’s water broke for them to be born, but this baby had a different plan. The couple only got a mile and a half down the road before driver Raymond Telleshad to pull over in a Whole Foods parking lot because that baby was coming NOW!

Telles says he remained calm until he turned around and saw the baby boy was out, caught by his father as he was born in the backseat. The healthy baby boy weighed six pounds and 12.5 ounces and even got a gift from his driver - an Uber onesie!
