On how he is feeling:

“I feel great.”

On having concussions before and the experience going through concussion protocol:

“I have had a concussion in high school. Last year was my first one [in the NFL]. That one was scary. This one was more mild. Obviously, I was out a shorter period of time so this one was more mild.”

On if he needs to change aspects of how he practices based on sustaining the concussion, which could have simply been bad luck:

“No, not at all.

On CB Martin Emerson Jr.’s performance while he was unavailable:

“Like I have said, our corners and our three-deep can all start on any team. He has been playing amazing the whole entire season. That is something we expected. Obviously, I was excited for him, but like I said earlier, I expect him to do stuff like that. I am proud of him. He is having an unbelievable season.”

On if there is a sense the Browns can go on a run and make the playoffs, including with QB Deshaun Watson returning:

“Yeah, for sure. When you are getting a guy back like Deshaun, the whole locker room you can feel it. The whole locker room is just super excited and super happy. We definitely have to come with that energy this game. We are trying to take it one game at a time and do our best.”

On if playing with a QB like Watson provides a ‘safety net’ for the Browns defense to ‘play riskier or take more chances’:

“I think you could say that a little bit. When you have a guy like him, the most elite quarterbacks can pretty much win a few games by themselves sometimes. When you have a gunslinger like him who is one of the best in the league, I wouldn’t say we will play riskier, but just knowing that he is there at quarterback definitely you have a sigh of relief going into this game.”
