Pastor Charged With Vehicular Homicide To Appear In Court Today

A Canton Township pastor facing vehicular homicide charges is scheduled to appear in court today.

Reports say that -- in an incident from earlier this month -- 26-year-old reverend Rushon Patterson the Second of the Now Alive Kidz Church in Canton -- permitted 14-year-old Malachi Nichols-Williams and other young people to ride on the outside of a church van.

Malachi suffered a fatal injury when he was thrown from the van after it went over a pothole.

Reverend Patterson was arrested last week and is being held on a million-dollar bond.
