Foo Fighters are moving on from drummer Josh Freese.
In a post on Instagram, Freese said the band called him Monday to let him know they decided "to go in a different direction with their drummer."
He added that he's fine, but "just a bit shocked and disappointed."
Freese joined the band in May 2023 following the death of Taylor Hawkins.
He has played with a number of big-name bands throughout his career, including Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails and Devo.
