Over the weekend, indie label Father/Daughter Records tweeted what's been on all our minds: "how come there isn't a paramore holiday album"? And Hayley Williams had something to say about that.
"where were you christmas 2010 while we were decking the mf halls?" she replied, quoting the original tweet and adding a YouTube link to the most ridiculous "Christmas carol" you've ever heard. The medley finds the members of Paramore screaming more than singing the lyrics to holiday classics like "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Jingle Bells."
One fan thought the band had one too many eggnogs before recording their festive compilation. "Okay so how drunk were you?" they asked.
"honestly weren’t hammered... we were about to lose 2 members of the band and we knew it and we were just delirious with sadness, love, anger and a very obvious possession of the christmas spirit," Hayley responded, referring to Josh and Zac Farro leaving the band.
