Is Blink-182 Recording a Christmas Song?

Thanksgiving may be a day away, but that doesn't mean we're not already in the holiday spirit. And from the looks of it blink-182 is too, or at least Travis Barker.

The drummer recently posted quite the telling photo on his Instagram story. "Currently recording Christmas music" Travis wrote on a photo of him behind the kit, complete with a Christmas tree emoji.

Now, this on its own doesn't necessarily mean he's recording with blink — Travis is involved in all sorts of side projects — however, there is another interesting part to note: He tagged John Feldmann, who just happened to produce the band's latest album, California.

Although it's perfectly plausible Travis is recording another project with Feldmann, the producer also posted a photo of Travis in the studio to his story, with "the best" scrawled along the top. But that's not all. He tagged Travis and blink in the post.

Though the band hasn't formally announced that they have a Christmas song in the works, fans may have a special gift to open this holiday season.

If blink does gift us with a Yuletide tune, it won't be the first they've contributed to the holiday canon. In 1997, they released one of the grinch-iest songs of all time, "I Won't Be Home For Christmas." And then, of course, there's "Happy Holidays, You Bastard," which was featured on their 2001 album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
