If there's one person on the planet who really has the right to say they're "feeling like a rock star," it's Post MaloneThe "Congratulations" rapper got to close out the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 20) alongside rock legends Aerosmith

After performing his hit single "Rockstar" with 21 Savage, which was already a pretty epic VMA performance in and of itself, the "Psycho" rapper joined the legendary rockstars for an unforgettable performance of "Dream On," and "Toys In The Attic." (It was the collaboration you didn't know you needed!) Post played the electric guitar as he let the OG rockers rock out to their classic hits. However, he did get on the mic a few times for a little Aero-and-Posty harmonizing.

Post looked like he was living out a childhood dream as he played alongside one of the biggest names in rock music. The band also seemed happy to share the stage with Posty as they embraced him following their killer set.

It was a big night for Post. The 26-year-old rapper walked away with one of the top awards of the evening, song of the year, for his smash hit "Rockstar."

“You go to bed and you dream about maybe winning and then whenever you get up here you don’t remember what the hell to say,” Post said while accepting the award with 21 Savage, who is featured on the track. “Thank you so much. Thank you to my family, thank you to my crew — everybody that was a part of the song. Thank you, everybody, for listening.”

He added, “Honestly, in a hundred million years I would never expect to do this ever, so this is sick. So thank you so much, guys, thank you so much.”
