Marine Who 'Stole' Truck To Save Lives In Vegas Gets A Big Gift

The massacre in Las Vegas happened less than two weeks ago, and as time passes, we're learning more and more about the heroes from that day. There were so many people who risked their lives to save others, and they will always be remembered.

One Marine veteran, Taylor Winston, saved the lives of at least 30 people using some quick thinking and a little car theft. Winston was at the music festival when Stephen Paddock opened fire from his hotel room on the Las Vegas strip.

Winston noticed a truck nearby with keys still in the ignition. He commandeered the car and used it to drive injured people to the hospital. He loaded the truck with people as many times as he could, driving them to the hospital, then coming back for more. He says his time in the Marines is what prompted his quick-thinking and heroic actions.

Three days after the shooting, Winston received a message from the owner of the truck.

The stranger's truck was covered in the blood of victims, but it was all in the name of saving lives.

Taylor Winston didn't do any of this for the attention, but now he's going to get a big surprise.
