Cam Newton is wasting no time getting to know one of his new Patriot teammates.
This after the recently signed QB was seen working out with receiver Mohamed Sanu at UCLA on yesterday.
Makes sense as Sanu may be the only Patriot more excited than Newton to have Cam in New England.
Sanu and Pats fans both expected big things from the wideout when he signed midway through the season but that wasn’t the case at all as the entire Pats offense struggled last season.
But now Sanu is coming off of offseason ankle surgery that his trainer says now has the receiver looking "faster, quicker, leaner and in better shape" as he rehabs.
Newton too is also coming off his own surgery after missing all but two games in 2019 due to a foot injury.
And having this tandem healthy puts Bill Belichick and company in prime position to win their 12th straight AFC East title—breaking the NFL record of 11 the set last season.
