Target will no longer be carrying YouTuber Shane Dawson's books amid backlash against his past videos that included racist jokes and other problematic content.
The retail giant announced yesterday that they are removing "I Hate Myselfie" and "It Gets Worse: A Collection of Essays" as Dawson faces criticism for posting content containing blackface and the sexualizing of minors.
Target released a statement saying, "We're committed to creating an experience in which all guests feel welcomed and respected."
YouTube also announced that Dawson's channels were being demonetized amid the backlash.
