Ed Sheeran is the latest artist opening up his wallet to help folks in need during this difficult time. “The Sun” reports Ed has donated $1.25 million to local charities near where he lives in Suffolk, England.
“It is a horrible time and Ed wants to do what he can to help. He has split a seven-figure sum between local charities to try to ease the strain on his local community,” a source says. “Ed is very involved in the area and knows that his donations will make a massive difference.”
The source notes that one of charities getting a donation is a local children’s ward in Ipswich. The insider adds, “They are extremely grateful.”
