Win Butler is confirming that the members of Arcade Fire are working on a new album while social distancing.
Butler said on social media this week that the band was already a few months into recording new music when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
He said "the writing has intensified, and the work is flowing out" while the quarantine continues, and added that Arcade Fire may release some new music via a live stream.
However, he did say fans shouldn't expect the new material very soon.
